Exhibition Calendar 2008
Policy for Juried Shows
The non-refundable entry fee covers all an
artist’s entries for that show. Artists will be notified if any of their
art is not accepted for a show and will be asked to pick it up. Number and amount
of cash awards will depend on the number of entries. All 2-D art must be
framed and ready to hang with wire hangers. All art must have been
completed within the last three years and may not have been previously
displayed at Blue Skies Gallery.

Outside the
Box Blue Skies Members’ show in which our artists work in a medium you’re not used to seeing them use. Join us for the reception on Saturday, June 7th from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. for fun and some real surprises. |

Air & Water Show
Entries, limited to two per artist, must be
delivered to the gallery by Sunday July 13th . Entry fee is $15
for BSG members and $20 for non members. |

Poetry and the Visual Arts Show Show includes art in any medium that relates to the poetry of Carolyn Kreiter-Foronda, recent Poet Laureate of Virginia. Excerpts from her poetry will be posted on this website and her books will be available in the gallery. Entries, limited to one per artist, must be delivered to BSG by Monday August 25th with the quotation on which it is based. No limit on size. Entry fee is $15 for BSG members and $20 for non members. The Reception, on Sunday, September 6th from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m., will feature readings by the poet and cash awards. Juror: TBA Click here for more details. |

All Fired Up Ceramics Show Entries, limited to three per artist, must be
delivered to the gallery by Wednesday, September 24th. Entry
fee is $15 for BSG members and $20 for non members.
