Excel Art is a program
offered by the Department of Academic Advancement and Enrichment of
the Hampton City School System. The program identifies and
delivers enriched and accelerated discipline-based art instruction to
students “gifted” in the visual arts. |
Students participate in an
all-day pullout program in a mixed grade level classroom with students
from all over the city. Eligible students are bused to and from their
home school one day a week. The school division provides
transportation.
